Charlotte's Lobstein lands FSL honors

Stone Crabs left-hander Kyle Lobstein, after his stellar start last week, pulled in Florida State League's pitching honors Monday.

The 21-year-old threw seven shutout innings Thursday, allowing just one hit and striking out nine. The nine K's were one off his career high. Lobstein has won two straight starts, allowing one run in 13 innings, and is 2-2 with a 2.45 ERA.

Lobstein is the second Charlotte pitcher to win this year. Right-hander Alex Colome was the May 2 winner.
