Alex Colome allowed two runs over seven innings on two hits (both home runs), no walks and six strikeouts. He left with a 5-2 lead. Matt Hall scored twice. Brett Nommensen and Greg Sexton had two RBIs each.
Hot Rods 10, South Bend 3Kevin Kiermaier was 3-for-5 with two triples, two runs and three RBIs. Cody Rogers was 4-for-5 with four runs, a triple and an RBI. Phil Wunderlich homered and had four RBIs. Jimmy Patterson threw three shutout innings.
