Tuesday's Rays roundup

Columbus 5, Bulls 3
Ray Olmedo
was 4-for-5, while Desmond Jennings and Brandon Guyer each homered. Alex Torres gave up five runs on seven hits and three walks in five innings. Russ Canzler walked twice.

Hak-Ju Lee
reached five times and scored three runs. Tyler Bortnick hit a two-run home run, totaled three RBIs, scored twice, doubled and was hit by a pitch. Greg Sexton had two hits, a walk and two runs. Brett Nommensen walked thrice, was plunked and scored a run. Jake Jefferies hit an eighth-inning grand slam. Anthony Scelfo hit a two-run homer. Kyle Lobstein carried a shutout into the sixth and won his third straight start.

Hot Rods 10, West Michigan 2
Robby Price
had two hits, two walks and two RBIs. Hector Guevara was 3-for-5 with two RBIs and two runs. Kevin Kiermaier reached thrice, scored and swiped a base. Robi Estrada reached thrice, scored twice and had an RBI. Marcus Jensen fired five shutout innings, allowing seven hits and two walks.
