Brandon Jones hit a three-run home run with two outs in the ninth to push the Huntsville Stars to a 6-5 win over the Biscuits on Friday. It was the first blown save for Zach Quate (2-2).
It spoiled a quality start by Matt Moore and a three-RBI game by Tim Beckham. Moore allowed one run on four hits in six innings and tied a season high with nine strikeouts. Beckham homered, tripled and scored twice.
Montgomery led 5-1 in the middle of the seventh.
