Sergio Espinosa threw four hitless innings with one baserunner reaching on an error. Greg Sexton had two of Charlotte's five hits. Mayo Acosta and Dustin Biell each had a hit and walk.
Lansing 3, Hot Rods 2
Cody Rogers doubled, tripled and scored twice. Steve Tinoco had three hits and Robby Price walked twice and singled. Chris Rearick threw two shutout innings with one hit and one walk.
