Biscuits pitcher Matt Moore didn't factor in the decision Thursday despite a shutout start, but it landed him the Southern League's weekly pitching award Tuesday.
Moore threw six shutout innings and struck out a season-high 11 Thursday against Jacksonville. He gave up three hits and walked one.
The left-hander is 2-3 with a 2.91 ERA and a league-best 76 strikeouts this season.
Chattanooga outfielder Kyle Russell was the top hitter. He was 11-for-29 with four home runs, 10 RBIs, six doubles and eight runs scored from May 23-Sunday.
