Pitcher Matt Torra has been traded from the Arizona organization to Tampa Bay and assigned to Triple-A Durham, according to the transactions page at both the International League and Pacific Coast League.
Torra was 4-2 with a 6.07 ERA and a .331 average against for the Reno Aces this year and is in his seventh professional season. His status is listed as "reserve" on Durham's roster, he's a starter, and the Bulls apparently are in need of one with Chris Bootcheck's reported departure. Torra last pitched for the Aces on Sunday.
UPDATE: Torra comes to the Rays in exchange for cash considerations.
