Mark Thomas' bases-loaded walk brought in the go-ahead run in the eighth inning of the Biscuits' 3-2 win over the Pensacola Blue Wahoos on Friday.
Mikie Mahtook and Cameron Seitzer started the eighth with walks before Todd Glaesmann's single loaded the bases against Wahoos reliever Drew Hayes. Lee Hyde came on and struck out Riccio Torrez and Greg Sexton before issuing a five-pitch walk to Thomas.
Merrill Kelly posted his second straight quality start and won for the third time in his last four games. Kelly (3-2) gave up two runs -- both in the first inning -- over 6 1/3. Pensacola totaled six hits, two walks and five strikeouts against him.
