Mudcats opener

After 10 days away from a Biscuits game, I've got to get back in the groove.

Well, the Carolina Mudcats are in town to start a five-game series. That means fans can see two former Biscuits in the visiting uniforms. Vince Harrison played here in 2004 and Johnny Raburn was part of last year's championship team.

Harrison provided the "1" in Montgomery's all-time 1-204 record when trailing after eight innings. He hit a two-out, two-run double to give the Biscuits a 3-2 win over Birmingham on Sept. 4, ,2004.

With Friday's flurry of moves, the Devil Rays still have another move to make to clear up their 40-man roster. By the way, Andy Sonnanstine's debut Tuesday at Toronto will come against Roy Halladay, a four-time All-Star and former Cy Young winner.

Small change in Montgomery's usual lineup tonight. Reid Brignac and Evan Longoria, who are usually 3-4 in the order, are going 2-3.
