Shane Minks threw four shutout innings of one-hit ball, though he walked five. Mayo Acosta hit a two-run homer in the fifth. Alex Colome posted a book-rule quality start. Josh Satow blew a save in the ninth. Brett Nommensen reached four times and Matt Hall scored twice. Chris Murrill and Tyler Bortnick were each 3-for-7. The Crabs had the bases loaded and one out in the 15th. They also left 'em loaded in the 11th.

C.J. Riefenhauser took a shutout into the sixth. He left one out later and was charged with three runs, though only one earned. The entire offense was a measly broken-bat single in the sixth by Luke Bailey. It preceded a double play.
