Price in relief

Vanderbilt pitcher David Price is making his first relief appearance of the season right now and I'm thinking the Devil Rays are feeling very nervous.

Price is the favorite to be Tampa Bay's pick in Thursday's draft. He threw 130 pitches Friday.

Vanderbilt scored twice in the bottom of the eighth to forge a 3-3 tie with Michigan in an NCAA regional championship game.

Price gives up a 10th-inning homer. He stands to lose.

Michigan wins 4-3 in 10. Price picks up the loss.

By the way, Price allowed three homers this season. Two were in the regional.

Austin Peay cranked one in the ninth inning Friday to tie it 1-1. Vandy won in 11. The Wolverines pump one out tonight.
