Jeremy Hall threw seven shutout innings and extended his scoreless streak to 30 innings in the Montgomery Biscuits’ 11-2 win over the Jacksonville Suns on Monday.
Hall (4-2) allowed three hits, walked two and struck out five to win his third straight start. He has allowed 15 hits in the 30-inning streak.
Nevin Ashley hit his first home run of the season, a two-run shot in the eighth to cap Montgomery's scoring, and finished with three RBIs. Cody Cipriano had two RBIs and scored twice.
The game drew an announced crowd of 1,424, the smallest for a home game in Biscuits history.
