Biscuits second baseman Ryan Brett, catcher Curt Casali and outfielder Todd Glaesmann confirm they've been told they're headed to the Arizona Fall League.
Three others, they've been told, are going from the Charlotte Stone Crabs: third baseman Richie Shaffer and pitchers Matt Ramsey and Grayson Garvin.
They'll play with the Salt River Rafters along with players from the Diamondbacks, Rockies, Cardinals and Blue Jays. The season starts Oct. 8.
Shaffer also went last season and hit .259 in 15 games for the Phoenix Desert Dogs.
Brett, Casali and Garvin will have a chance to make up some of the games they missed this season.
Garvin returned from Tommy John surgery and didn't make his season debut until July. Casali missed a month with shoulder tendinitis. Brett lost 38 games due to a drug suspension, though he was also recovering from offseason surgeries.
