Romero, Thompson not scheduled to start vs. Barons

Biscuits starters Enny Romero and Jake Thompson, who are tied for the Southern League wins lead, are not among the scheduled starters for Montgomery's final series of the season.

The Biscuits still haven't settled on who is expected to start Monday, but the first four days do not include the two 11-game winners.

Michael Colla starts tonight followed by Victor Mateo on Friday, Joe Van Meter on Saturday and Marquis Fleming on Sunday. Van Meter falls in the spot where Thompson has been starting. Fleming is scheduled to start in what has been Romero's turn in the rotation.

The Biscuits listed their scheduled starters for the entire Birmingham series as "TBA" before Tuesday's home finale.

FYI: Triple-A Durham's starters for Saturday (a doubleheader) and Sunday are also listed as "TBA" in their game notes today. Monday's game isn't yet listed.

Romero is 11-7 with a 2.76 ERA and has thrown a career-high 140 1/3 innings this year, 14 1/3 more than he did last year. Thompson is 11-10 with a 4.18 ERA in 148 2/3 innings, which is 24 innings past the career high he set last year.
