Jabari Blash homered twice to power the Jackson Generals in a 10-1 bashing of the Biscuits on Thursday. Blash hit a two-run homer in a six-run second inning and added a solo shot in the eighth.
Blash, after John Hicks doubled to lead off the second inning, homered to left field on an 0-2 pitch from Biscuits starter Jake Thompson. With two outs, Ramon Morla hit a two-run single and Ji-Man Choi a two-run double.
Thompson (11-10) lasted just three innings to record his second-shortest start of the season. He also had a streak of seven straight quality starts snapped.
