Right-hander Jake Floethe, who hasn't pitched since July 28 due to a sore back, belatedly went on Montgomery's disabled list today.
The Biscuits made the move retroactive to last Tuesday, which means he'd be eligible to come off the DL next Tuesday.
Floethe fell to 1-6 with a 5.86 ERA in 10 starts after giving up five earned runs on 12 hits in 4 2/3 innings against Mississippi on July 28.
The Biscuits didn't immediately fill Floethe's roster spot, but why put him on the DL now unless someone is coming?
