Anderson wins Durham's team MVP award

Leslie Anderson has won his second straight team most valuable player award at Triple-A Durham.

J.D. Martin and Kirby Yates will share the team's pitcher of the year award. The Bulls name the awards.

Anderson is hitting .295 with 14 home runs and 72 RBIs. He has a .376 on-base percentage.

Martin is 15-4 with a 2.84 ERA and has set Durham's Triple-A record for victories. Yates has 18 saves, a 1.69 ERA and 87 strikeouts in 58 2/3 innings. Hitters have a .167 average against him.
