Andrew Heaney fired seven strong innings and former Biscuit Derek Dietrich clubbed a two-run home run to lead the Jacksonville Suns in a 8-1 win over the Biscuits on Friday.
Heaney (4-1) gave up one run on five hits and recorded his fourth quality start in five games with Jacksonville. Scott McGough finished the five-hitter.
Dietrich, who ended last season with Montgomery, had three hits, including a two-run homer in the eighth inning to make it 5-1. Mark Canha added a three-run blast in the ninth. Canha scored three times.
The Biscuits scored in the fourth inning when outfielder Mikie Mahtook singled, stole second and third and came home on an error. Mahtook's two hits included a well-placed infield groundball and a blooper.
Delmon Young was 0-for-4 with two strikeouts and two groundouts in his first game back with Montgomery.
