Third baseman Richie Shaffer, in his first full professional season, made his first end-of-season All-Star team.
Shaffer, with the Charlotte Stone Crabs, was named to the Florida State League's team, the Stone Crabs announced today.
Shaffer has a .252 average with 11 home runs and 64 RBIs this season. He has a .310 on-base percentage and is slugging .402.
He was the 25th overall pick in the 2012 draft out of Clemson and hit .308 in 33 games last year for the New York-Penn League champion Hudson Valley Renegades.
The 22-year-old was the only Charlotte player picked, according to the Stone Crabs.
