Left-hander Sean Bierman has gone on high-Class A Charlotte's disabled list and the Stone Crabs have added a pitcher from outside the Tampa Bay organization.
Right-hander Jared Mortensen was in the independent American Association. He was 4-6 with a 3.76 ERA for the Grand Prairie AirHogs.
