J.D. Martin gave up a run over 7 1/3 innings to pick up his 16th win. Tim Beckham led off the game with a home run, doubled, singled twice and had two RBIs. Brandon Guyer doubled, tripled, walked, RBI'd and scored. The Bulls were 0-for-16 with runners in scoring position.
St. Lucie 2, Stone Crabs 1 (10)
Jake Partridge gave up an unearned run over four-plus innings, while Lenny Linsky tossed 3 2/3 shutout innings with one hit allowed.
Hot Rods 4, South Bend 1
Joey Rickard's two-run single capped a three-run ninth inning. Patrick Leonard's RBI single snapped a 1-1 tie. Jeff Ames' five innings included a run on three hits. Bruedlin Suero tossed three shutout innings with one hit, one walk and five strikeouts. Bowling Green clinched a playoff berth.
Renegades 4, Connecticut 3 (12)
James Harris singled home Tyler Young with the go-ahead run. John Alexander doubled, singled twice, walked and scored. Ryan McChesney doubled, singled, walked and RBI'd. Justin Choate threw four shutout innings.
P-Rays 9, Bristol 7
David Garcia hit a three-run homer and an RBI single. Bralin Jackson doubled, tripled and scored twice. Johnny Eierman doubled, singled, walked, scored and had an outfield assist.
GCL Rays 2, Red Sox 1
Jose Mujica threw three shutout innings and Jose Castillo 2 2/3 scoreless with one hit allowed each. Eric Fredrick tossed two no-hit frames with a walk. Adderly Rosa doubled twice, walked and scored. Kean Wong singled thrice.
