Enny Romero and Braulio Lara combined on a six-hitter in the Biscuits' 5-0 win over the Mississippi Braves on Wednesday.
Romero (11-6) threw seven innings, giving up five hits with a walk and seven strikeouts. Romero tied Jake Thompson for the team lead in wins, which is tied for the third most in franchise history.
It's the 12th shutout posted by the Biscuits this season.
Mikie Mahtook and Curt Casali had a part in each of Montgomery's scoring rallies.
Mahtook hit an RBI single in the first inning, reached base four times and scored twice. Casali also reached base four times, scored and singled home Mahtook with the final run in the seventh inning.
