OK, back to that Nick Barnese stuff ...
He said he'll be re-evaluated Friday.
"It wasn't crazy painful, but we'll see how it feels," Barnese said.
The right-hander said the pain started in the second and "I tried to see what it was." He wanted to go back out for the third inning. He left having allowed one run.
"He said it doesn't feel that bad, but we wanted to be cautious," manager Billy Gardner said. "There was no way he was going back out there."
