Bulls 9, Charlotte 1Justin Ruggiano homered twice for a second straight game and finished 4-for-4 with a walk, four runs scored and three RBIs. Chris Carter had three RBIs and Desmond Jennings scored twice. Alex Cobb allowed one run in five innings, struck out eight and is 3-0 with a 1.13 ERA.
Stone Crabs 5, Palm Beach 4 (12)Tyler Bortnick scored from second on a wild pitch/error combo to win it. Bortnick hit a tying single in the 12th and went to second on the throw. Hak-Ju Lee doubled, tripled, walked twice and stole a base. Sergio Espinosa threw three shutout innings.
Dayton 7, Hot Rods 2
Todd Glaesmann homered and reached base three times. Luke Bailey threw out two would-be basestealers. Chris Rearick tossed two perfect innings.
