Saturday's Rays roundup

Bulls 6, Norfolk 4 (14)
Paul Phillips
threw three no-hit innings for the win. Mike Ekstrom had two perfect innings. R.J. Swindle worked out of a bases-loaded, two-out jam in the fifth and retired all five hitters he faced. Brandon Guyer had four hits, a solo home run and two RBIs. Robinson Chirinos snapped the tie with an RBI single and Omar Luna followed with a sacrifice fly.

homered. Brett Nommensen had a walk, steal and outfield assist.

Hot Rods 1, Lake County 0
C.J. Riefenhauser
took a no-hitter into the seventh inning. He left with one out, having allowed one hit and inducing 10 groundball outs. Kevin Kiermaier doubled twice with one scoring Nick Schwaner in the second inning.

Lake County 14, Hot Rods 4
Enny Romero
served up four home runs and Jimmy Patterson three. Romero gave up nine runs on seven hits in one-plus inning. He faced seven batters in the second without recording an out. Todd Glaesmann had three RBIs.
