With the Biscuits down 6-0 in the middle of the sixth, it's not a strong night for the Tampa Bay minor leagues.
Charlotte 8, Bulls 3
Justin Ruggiano, after hitting four home runs the last two days, was 0-for-1 with three walks and scored twice. Dane De La Rosa threw two shutout innings. Brandon Guyer was 2-for-4 with a double and run scored.
St. Lucie 7, Stone Crabs 6
Hak-Ju Lee hit a solo home run and scored twice. Greg Sexton was 3-for-4 with a double, two RBIs and a run scored. Brett Nommensen scored twice. Shane Minks gave up four runs in the sixth inning.
Dayton 4, Hot Rods 1
Robby Price was 2-for-4 and scored on a Phil Wunderlich single. Hector Guevara reached base twice. Jimmy Patterson and Austin Hubbard each threw a perfect inning.
