The Biscuits have added a player, though he won't be on the active roster until Thursday.
Pitcher Frank De Los Santos, after a bout of chicken pox, has also been freed from extended spring training and put into a Montgomery uniform.
The left-hander was 10-9 with a 4.33 ERA last year at high-Class A Charlotte and is in his fifth professional season. He's the third player to come to the Biscuits from the extended spring program this week. Infielder Henry Wrigley and outfielder John Matulia joined the Biscuits on Monday.
De Los Santos missed 12 days of spring training recovering from chicken pox, which he said he got from his stepdad just before camp started. Though he was quarantined while he was sick, he apparently passed them on to shortstop Hak-Ju Lee, who just recently debuted at high-Class A Charlotte.
