Stone Crabs starter out with elbow

Charlotte starter Jake Thompson left tonight's game with Jupiter after two shutout innings due to tightness in his right elbow. He'll be re-evaluated Thursday. Thompson, 21, was a second-round draft pick last year out of Long Beach State and is the No. 10 prospect in the Tampa Bay system, according to Baseball America.
