John Matulia knocked in five runs, Cole Figueroa and Daniel Mayora each tied a Biscuits record with four runs scored, and Montgomery throttled Mississippi 17-2 on Wednesday.
Shane Dyer threw 6 1/3 innings, the most by a Biscuit this season, to pick up his first win. Nevin Ashley hit a two-run home run in the ninth and finished with three RBIs. The Biscuits finished with a season-high 17 hits and scored their most runs since a 20-2 win at Jacksonville on June 19, 2005.
