The Biscuits' front office says it hasn't officially from the Tampa Bay Rays that All-Star third baseman Evan Longoria is coming to Montgomery.
Longoria will play four games in a five-game home series that starts Thursday.
"It will be great if he does come to Montgomery," Biscuits general manager Marla Vickers said.
The Biscuits say they have ideas for the series and expect added ticket sales.
"We think a lot of fans will want to come out to see Longoria, if he comes to Montgomery," Vickers said. "We'll really see how big of a baseball town Montgomery is."
