Alex Torres struck out 10 over five innings, allowing two runs (one earned) on two hits. He also walked four and took the loss. Brandon Guyer had two RBIs and Robinson Chirinos two hits. Justin Ruggiano and Russ Canzler reached base twice.
St. Lucie 10, Stone Crabs 7
Brett Nommensen was 2-for-4 with a walk, triple, two RBIs and two runs scored. Tyler Bortnick also scored twice, plus walked twice and singled. Anthony Scelfo also reached twice and had an RBI.
Lake County 9, Hot Rods 5
Cody Rogers homered, walked and scored twice, while Phil Wunderlich had two RBIs, giving him 15 this year. Robby Price walked twice and swiped a base. Bowling Green had four hits.
