Who deserves Tampa Bay's minor league awards for the month of April? I'm going with Durham's Dane De La Rosa over Bowling Green's C.J. Riefenhauser for the pitcher, but the hitter brings up a question to be answered. How many games should one have to play in to qualify?
If 13 games is enough (of the 24 possible playing dates in April), then Charlotte's Hak-Ju Lee is the choice, hands down. If not, I'd lean to Durham's Brandon Guyer.
Obviously, the ballot below isn't final. If there's someone else deserving or you have a differing opinion, speak now.
HITTERS
Durham
Brandon Guyer: .375, 5 HRs, 12 RBIs, 19 runs, 1.075 OPS
Montgomery
Stephen Vogt: .338, 15 RBIs, 11 runs, .971 OPS
Charlotte
Hak-Ju Lee: .451, 12 runs, 1.220 OPS, played in just 13 games (chicken pox)
Greg Sexton: .356, 21 RBIs, 17 runs, .895 OPS
Bowling Green
Luke Bailey: .296, 13 RBIs, .893 OPS in 16 games
Derek Dietrich: .290, 11 RBIs, 12 runs, .884 OPS in 18 games

I'd 2nd Durham's Brandon Guyer.
