Biscuits-Smokies suspended

The Biscuits' game Sunday at Tennessee was suspended in the third inning and will be resumed today.

They'll restart at 4 p.m. today with the Smokies leading 1-0 and finish a nine-inning game. A seven-inning game will follow.

The Biscuits have a runner at first base with none out in the third when play resumes. Jimmy Patterson is scheduled to relieve Enny Romero when Montgomery takes the field in the bottom of the third.

Marquis Fleming is scheduled to start tonight's regularly scheduled game, which is the finale of the five-game series. The Biscuits start a five-game series at the Jackson Generals on Tuesday.
