Hearing that catcher Oscar Hernandez has been promoted from short-season Hudson Valley to low-Class A Bowling Green to finish the season.
He has a .228 average in 43 games for the Renegades and played in the New York-Penn League All-Star Game. The 20-year-old hit .231 at Rookie-level Princeton last year after winning a Triple Crown in Venezuela in 2011.
