John Andreoli's two-run single capped a four-run seventh inning that gave the Tennessee Smokies the lead in Thursday's 9-8 win over the Biscuits.
With one out, Justin Bour and Rubi Silva hit consecutive RBI doubles to tie it 6-6 and chase Montgomery reliever Jimmy Patterson. Erik Hamren issued two straight walks before Andreoli singled to center field.
Mikie Mahtook finished with a season-high four RBIs for the Biscuits, who had a season-high five-game winning streak snapped.
Mahtook hit one of three home runs, a two-run blast, in a four-run third inning. He also singled and scored in the fifth before hitting an RBI double in the seventh and an RBI single in a two-run ninth.
