Barons outfielder David Cook, just promoted to Triple-A, won the Southern League's player of the month for June.
He hit .382 with 23 runs scored, eight home runs and 29 RBIs in June. Now unable to play in the SL All-Star Game, Cook has been replaced by teammate Jordan Danks.
