Brignac picked for Triple-A All-Star Game

Durham shortstop Reid Brignac has been named to the International League team for the upcoming Triple-A All-Star Game.

Brignac, a Biscuit in 2006-07, hit .294 with 18 doubles in the first half of the season. The 23-year-old is the only Durham player headed to the game, which will be played at 9:05 p.m. July 15 in Portland, Ore.

Indianapolis pitcher Chris Bootcheck, a former first-round draft pick from Auburn, is also headed to the game.
