Biscuits center fielder Desmond Jennings won the Southern League's weekly award for hitters today.
Jennings was 10-for-16 with eight walks and eight runs scored in five games against West Tenn. He reached base 18 times in 24 plate appearances. Birmingham's John Ely won the pitcher's award.
