Dale Thayer threw 1 2/3 shutout innings and Reid Brignac had an RBI in the International League's 6-5 win over the Pacific Coast League on Wednesday in the Triple-A All-Star Game in Portland, Ore.
Brignac was the starting shortstop and finished 1-for-3. He hit an RBI double and scored in the IL's three-run third inning. Thayer came on in the fifth and worked out of a one-out, two-on jam with a double play. He walked one in the sixth.
The former Biscuits will rejoin the Durham Bulls in Louisville, Ky., for a series that starts Thursday.
