Biscuits reliever Paul Phillips has been promoted to Triple-A Durham.
The Bulls are down two pitchers after Richard De Los Santos and Chris Bootcheck went on the disabled list.
Phillips, who has pitched for the Bulls in the playoffs each of the last two seasons, has thrown just 2 2/3 innings this year. He's 0-1 with a 6.75 ERA.
De Los Santos suffered a shoulder injury and Bootcheck a concussion Tuesday. Durham also activated catcher Craig Albernaz, who has been known to pitch.
