Bulls 4, Syracuse 3Desmond Jennings singled in Omar Luna with the winning run in the ninth. Justin Ruggiano hit a two-run home run in the eighth. He and Jennings each reached three times. Ruggiano scored twice, doubled and stole a base. Rehabbing reliever J.P. Howell threw a one-walk inning.

Adam Liberatore threw four shutout innings, giving up three hits and a walk. Greg Sexton's and Mayo Acosta's doubles accounted for two of Charlotte's five hits.
Hot Rods 9, Lake County 8Phil Wunderlich homered in the ninth to snap a tie. Derek Dietrich hit a grand slam in the seventh and had five RBIs. Bowling Green trailed 7-1 after five. Omar Bencomo threw four shutout innings, allowing two hits and a walk. Chris Rearick pitched a perfect ninth for his sixth save.
