Andrew Chafin threw a rain-shortened five-hitter to lead the Mobile BayBears in a 6-1 win over the Biscuits. The game ended with one out in the bottom of the seventh.
Chafin (7-5) issued no walks and recorded five strikeouts.
Nick Evans hit his 16th home run, a two-run blast in the fourth inning, while Dustin Martin doubled twice and had two RBIs for Mobile. Hector Guevara doubled and singled for the Biscuits.
