Kyeong Kang homered twice, including in the 11th inning, to give the Biscuits a 2-1 win over the Mobile BayBears. Kang hit the tying homer in the seventh off former Biscuit Matt Gorgen and the go-ahead blast with two outs in the 11th.
Biscuits starter Victor Mateo threw eight innings, giving up one run on three hits. Braulio Lara threw two innings for the win and Juan Sandoval survived a two-hit 11th for his 13th save.
Kang is the first Biscuit to homer twice in a game since Henry Wrigley did it at Pensacola on April 9, 2012. He's the 29th in team history.
