Juan Sandoval became the first pitcher in Biscuits history to appear in both ends of a doubleheader Thursday.
Sandoval threw 14 pitches in the final inning of Montgomery's 6-1 opening victory and 15 pitches in the Biscuits' 4-2 final win over Jacksonville.
Sandoval didn't give up a hit -- the only runner to reach did so via error -- and had three strikeouts. This year, the right-hander has 14 saves and a 2.98 ERA for Montgomery.
