O'Malley away after father's death

Biscuits shortstop Shawn O'Malley has gone home to Washington after his father's death. Rich O'Malley died Sunday. He was 55. Visitation is Friday and the funeral Saturday in Richland, Wash. Rich and wife, Karla, have been married for 33 years and had three children, including Shawn, according to his obituary.
