Using the Bill James game score formula, Biscuits pitcher Victor Mateo made the team's strongest start of the season Saturday.

His seven-inning one-hit shutout, which featured no walks and four strikeouts, scored a 79 on the Bill James game score.
Mateo and Merrill Kelly had the previous season-best scores with 77s.
Mateo did it May 16 when he threw seven shutout innings in a win at Birmingham. That was his last victory before throwing six shutout innings Monday at Mobile. Kelly posted his 77 with seven shutout innings against Birmingham on April 27.
The Bill James game score uses innings pitched, hits and runs allowed, walks and strikeouts to "grade" a starting pitcher.
For comparison, Matt Moore's nine-inning no-hitter in 2011, which included two walks and 11 strikeouts, scored a 96.
