Infielder Taylor Motter has been freed from his rehab assignment to the GCL Rays and returned to the high-Class A Charlotte Stone Crabs.
Infielder Ben Kline, though, has been demoted from Charlotte to short-season Hudson Valley.
Motter was hitting .298 in 53 games when he went down with a hamstring injury June 22. After playing in one game with the GCL Rays on July 3, he didn't play again until Friday and has appeared in three games since.
Kline started the year at low-Class A Bowling Green and hit .281 in 10 games. He last played for the Hot Rods on April 26. Kline joined the Stone Crabs on June 13 and had a .192 average in 19 games.
