Sunday/Monday: Smokies 3, Biscuits 2 (Sandoval sets record)

Juan Sandoval became the oldest player in Biscuits history, retiring all four batters he faced in a 3-2 loss to the Tennessee Smokies on Monday in the resumption of Sunday's game.

Sandoval is 32 years, 7 months old, eclipsing Todd Ritchie's 32 years, 6 months, 28 days age record from June 4, 2004.

Tennessee's Eric Jokisch gave up four hits over 6 1/3 innings to pick up the win Monday.

Curt Casali doubled, singled, walked and scored twice to lead the Biscuits. Jimmy Patterson gave up two runs over 4 2/3 innings to take the loss.
