Ian Thomas worked seven innings and combined with two relievers on a four-hitter in the Mississippi Braves' 3-2 win over the Biscuits on Thursday.
Thomas (6-6) gave up two runs -- one earned -- on three hits with no walks and six strikeouts.
Shawn O'Malley and Curt Casali each doubled and scored for Montgomery, which lost four of five games in its series at Trustmark Park.
Biscuits starter Enny Romero (9-6) allowed three runs on seven hits in even innings.
