First back-to-back HRs by Biscuits since 2009

It took a few innings, but we have some historical context on the back-to-back home runs hit by Nevin Ashley and Matt Sweeney in the second inning today. They're the first back-to-back shots by the Biscuits since July 29, 2009, when Matt Fields and Cody Strait did it in the second inning of a home game with Huntsville.

Aug. 13 vs. Birmingham: Vince Harrison and Iker Franco with none out in 8th

final update at 6:15 p.m.
Information not readily available from 2004. There were three other games where we thought it may have happened because consecutive hitters had home runs in the game, but they were NOT back-to-back.

July 2 at West Tenn: Brian Martin, Jace Brewer, Jesus Feliciano
July 3 at West Tenn: Dan DeMent and Jace Brewer
(DeMent's was a pinch-hit HR after Juan Salas had three at-bats. The Biscuits' only multi-run inning that night was the second.)
July 31 at Carolina: Vince Harrison and Iker Franco
